About Us
Zahra Batool Couture
ZB Couture features hand-painted, made-to-order gowns for bridal and formal occasions. Each bridal gown offers timeless and classic beauty through Zahra’s intricately hand-painted motifs on luxury fabrics of the highest quality.
How a ZB Couture Gown is Made
Every ZB Couture gown starts with a concept inspired by nature. Zahra designs her floral motifs and then works for 30—40 hours rendering the motifs onto her fabric using the finest fabric paints and pencils.
After the fabric has been carefully pressed to set the paint, the seamstress works by hand and machine for 1-2 weeks, stitching the gown together until the fine details and the beauty of the gown’s silhouette are complete.

About Zahra Batool
Long before she became a Master Designer, decades before she was the founder and CEO of ZB Couture, Zahra Batool was just another little girl with big dreams and even bigger talent. Growing up in Pakistan, there was nothing that made Zahra happier than a box full of crayons or a few bottles of paint. As a result, she spent hour upon hour creating beautiful pictures and fantasizing about becoming a real artist when she grew up.
As a teen, she applied and was accepted to the prestigious National College of Arts and Lahore in Pakistan, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design. It was there that she began to fuse her artistic abilities with textiles. But Zahra wanted something more. She wanted to take her beautifully painted works and bring them to life, transforming them from single dimension fabrics to living, breathing 3D pieces.
In 2008, Zahra moved to New York for post-graduate study at the famed Fashion Institute of Technology. It was there that she began to fuse her printed fabrics with elegant dress forms. And it was there that she realized her dream of bringing her artwork to life, watching as her creations danced and swirled on fashion runways. Zahra has had an inspiring nine-year career designing prints for leading international textile companies and is currently working with luxury retailer, Neiman Marcus as an event live artist.
ZB Couture
But Zahra wanted more creative freedom, more challenges. So, in 2019 she launched ZB Couture and in 2020 she created her very first collection:

Luxury Fashion from ZB Couture
Because every woman is unique, each design is custom made. Every dress silhouette and hand-painted design results in a couture gown that enhances and complements the wearer. And because Zahra’s designs are timeless, her gowns are designed to be worn again and again.
Since her debut, Zahra has participated in many New York & New Jersey Bridal fashion events, trunk shows, and styled shoots. She has also successfully collaborated with Coach and Bergdorf Goodman. Her work has been featured in vogue, Fashion United, Belle Bridal, & Tatler magazines.
When she is not creating her custom design creations, Zahra can most often be found spending time with her family, practicing yoga, or painting in her studio.
All this from a little girl who dreamed of becoming an artist.
