Measurement and Sizing
In order to ensure the best possibly fit, we highly recommend measurements be taken by a professional tailor/seamstress. However it is an important part of the order process: accurate measurements will enable you to select the size that will give you the best fit. If you are unable to get measured professionally, please follow these guidelines using a soft measuring tape. Make sure to keep the tape sung but not tight when measuring. Also, make sure to always measure over your undergarments for the most accurate fit.
Measurement and Sizing
Some useful tips to assure right fit
Bust: Measure around the bust and back at the fullest part of your bust.
Waist: Measure around your natural waist (the narrowest part of your waist, not where your pants sit). Do not suck in! if you plan on losing weight we still recommend ordering the size you are falling into currently, the dresses can always be taken in.
Hip: standing with your feet together, measure around the fullest part of the hips.
Hollow-to-Hem (length): Your hollow to hem measurement is determined by measuring from the centre of your collarbone (hollow)to the bottom (hem) of your dress.
After you have completed your measurements, refer to the size chart below and decide which size you fit into best. Keep in mind that your usual dress size may vary from the size you choose at Zahra Batool Couture size chart. If your measurements fall in between two sizes, we strongly recommend selecting the larger size. It is always easier to take a garment in than letting it out when doing alterations, however if you have any questions regarding size chart or your body measurements, send us an email we would love to help you!
